This software on CD-Rom contains every licensee directly from the Registry of Motor Vehicles. This CD-Rom contains over 1,000,000 records searchable by unlimited partial queries. The Driver License CD-Rom has only one search criteria screen, which is the owner search, but on certain states you can also search by physical description. The arrow on the side of each field name which shows you the raw data at the DMV, as a reference to establish that the data input at DMV is not standardized. On the Driver License CD-Rom, you can use Boolean commands to standardize each search input to capture all possibilities.
For example,
an officer might be looking for “X” person in an abduction case, victim
“Y” may describe the perpetrator as an older male, certain height range
and remembers an eye color. DMV online could not run these queries, but
using the Driver License CD the officer can search by D.O.B range, height
range, more than one possible eye color, even a P.O. Box search gives you
the physical address, as well as the legally recorded address at the DMV.
A witness is never sure of the name, or physical description, but it helps
to have this CD-Rom to narrow the search by being able to cross-search
each field together or separately.
