We at CertainSafe™ are happy to announce that Congressman and former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Pete Hoekstra, has joined our Advisory Board of Directors.

Representative Hoekstra brings a combination of business, leadership, and, most importantly, intelligence, experience, and expertise to the CertainSafe™ table. We look forward to seeing how Rep. Hoekstra will apply his powerful mix of skills to make our software options even more “insanely secure” and to help information about our solutions reach the companies, agencies, and other entities that could benefit from our data protection the most.

CertainSafe™ and Representative Hoekstra see eye-to-eye on the gravity and importance of data protection and security in this day and age. From 1993 to 2011, Rep. Hoekstra was a member of the United States House of Representatives, and during this time, from 2004 to 2007, he served honorably as the Chairman of the United States Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. While on this committee, Rep. Hoekstra was charged with the oversight of the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Currently, Representative Hoekstra continues to demonstrate his deep concern for security, and he leads Congressional oversight on defense issues and issues related to the United States Intelligence Community.

On the business end, Rep. Hoekstra formerly acted as a Fortune 500 business executive, he can boast of 15 years of business experience that includes a Vice President of Marketing title, and he earned his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

We at CertainSafe™ believe that Representative Hoekstra will be nothing but an asset to our company, as he has demonstrated a deep commitment to security concerns. Additionally, his unique positioning in both the intelligence and corporate worlds can lend us a nuanced and important perspective to move our company, and our work to make data more insanely secure, forward.
